Development of language skills through didactic subtitling: a systematic review

چکیده

This article presents a systematic review of the literature on use subtitling in teaching foreign languages university contexts last five years. First, conceptual framework audiovisual translation for didactic purposes, its classification and influence development linguistic skills are presented, then methodology used search compilation studies. Considering inclusion exclusion criteria, fourteen empirical studies were selected distributed into four sections according to type they address: intralinguistic, standard interlinguistic, inverse interlinguistic mixed modalities. The results show that enhances acquisition vocabulary, oral comprehension, production grammatical understanding languages. In addition, participants report good reception task.
